Happy New Year! Another plague-ridden year for the world meant another ideal one for page-turning pursuits.

My Goodreads account tells me I finished 21 books in 2021, the majority novels and several published during the calendar year. Joining the “best of” lists making the rounds, please find below my favorite books read over the past 12 months.

    I love your list and have read many of those. I’d recommend Jonathan Franzen’s Crossroads snd a strange one – The Lost Shtetl.

      Hi Diane — thanks for the comment and recommendations! I enjoyed Franzen’s The Corrections so am probably due to tackle another of his tomes. I’ll take a look at The Lost Shtetl, too, as that’s a new one to me. All the best, happy reading, and have an excellent 2022!
